Congratulations to your husband. This is a good time to be getting out of the Postal Service. I actually ordered a copy of War Clouds Looming because I’m attempting to write a story about my father’s CCC and World War II experience and I thought his book would be a good read on that period. My dad’s high school yearbook (1938)was entirely about the war they all knew was coming-even down to a comic book entry of what the German high school student was doing that year.

I hear of more spider bites than snake bites, but have heard of a few copperhead bites in my valley when people were cleaning out garden messes. Not right in my neighborhood-my little snake has not been found, he may be in here with me!
