Baked Peanut Butter Cups Recipe

I made this recipe up after tasting one in a bakery and saying, “I can do that!”  I couldn’t afford to buy enough for the family in a bakery!

1/2 cup butter flavored Crisco

1 cup peanut butter

3/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

2 eggs

3/4 cup milk

1 1/4 cups plain flour

3/4 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla

Mix peanut butter, Crisco, and sugar. Add eggs and milk, mix well. Add flour, baking soda
& powder, mix again, the add vanilla and mix thoroughly. Mixture is rather thick.

Place  mix in baking cups-1/2 full. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes, depending on stove. After cooking, cool the cupcakes and squeeze a dollop of chocolate icing onto the top of the cupcake. Makes up to 24 cupcakes.
