I am sorry for the loss of your son. There is a special poignancy in a child, almost grown, passing over. As if some part of them is somehow too sweet for this harsh world. At least for this go ’round. As if all they were meant to do in this life has been done already. Just allow us to love them, and go on. What could be a better life’s work than to inspire love?
I like the way overhead makes it all seem high and transcendent and then you make it come down to earth with a bump so to speak with that baby bird falling
Today we watched as two Cat birds (defending their nests) chased one poor crow around the neighborhood. At last the crow became discouraged and flew off, no doubt to bother some other critters…
